The business grew to five people and moved to a small brick building (formerly a gas station) in San Leandro, California. From there things took off, more people were hired and the building was expanded four times, business was good.

In 1997 we became Belden Consulting Engineers and an ESOP company. Through the ESOP all of our employees have a vested interest in the company which has helped retain our dedicated staff. With this transition Dennis Hay became President and Kevin Moore Vice President We added Mechanical and Plumbing divisions to the company, just what several clients were looking for, a full-service MEP consulting firm. Business was even better. Shortly after that we moved our office to the Tri-Valley area and we are now located in Pleasanton, California
